Dear All,

No one likes to be duped and a number of Australian municipalities are recognizing that they have been duped by their own health authorities on the safety of fluoridation. Thus we are excited to report that the Golden Plains Shire Council (Victoria) which had previously voted 5-4 to go ahead with fluoridation, have overturned this with a new vote of 8-1 vote against themeasure. Apparently the osteosarcoma information caused three councillors to change their yes votes to no votes.

According to Ailsa Boyden, Philip Robertson of Geelong provided the Golden Plains’ councillors with a DVD copy of the August 2005 Today Tonight program
showing harmful effects of fluoridation (this program was shown in South Australia and Western Australia, but not in Victoria where the program was shot. Nor was it shown in NSW or Queensland despite the intense interest in this subject there). Councillors watched it and all bar one were horrified to discover how badly misinformed they have been by the authorities.

So another round of congratulations are deserved by the fabulous fluoridation fighters in Australia. I am sure if you send your thoughts to Ailsa at she will spread the joy around.
