Dear All,
Before I get to the Seattle events, Dr. William Hirzy and Dr. Bob Carton will be interviewed on a Florida radio station today. Here are the details as sent to us by the program producer:
Drinking Water Fluoridation. Long a controversial subject.
On one side, the American Dental Association claiming it to
be a magic potion for cavity-free teeth. On the other side
are scientists who actually research this matter and have
found that this practice can cause deleterious health effects.
This Thursday morning (THA’S TODAY!) from 11-12 eastern time, we welcome
two government scientists, Drs. Bob Carton and Bill Hirzy,
who will discuss the recent findings from the prestigious
National Research Council that drinking fluoridated water
can be harmful to your health. Listen at 1520 am in the

Conscious Talk Radio in Seattle on Thursday, May 4, 10:00am EST (7:00am PST). The interview is repeated the same day at 4:00pm EST. Tune in to
KKNW 1150 AM, Seattle. Live audio streaming is also available,
www.conscioustalk.net. If you miss this live interview you can listen later by accessing program archives.
Keith Seinfeld of KPLU Public Radio (Seattle, 88.5 FM,
www.KPLU.org) will be interviewing Dr. Connett for 15-30 minutes Monday morning (for broadcast on Tuesday), and will also interview someone from the dental school. Then I think 10 minutes will be aired twice on Tuesday AM, along with the forum information, possibly around 5:50am and 7:50am (Keith couldn’t say for sure).

New Research Raises Health Concerns
Dr. Paul Connett will present the latest scientific findings on the dnagers of fluoridation at a Fluoride Forum in Seattle on Tuesday, May 9th at the Talaris Conference Center. Dr. Connett will be introduced at the Fluoride Forum by two Seattle-area dentists, Dr. Paul Rubin and Dr. Bill Osmunson. An additional presentation on May 8th is now scheduled, and Continuing Education credits are available either evening (see below).
