Dear All,

In my view the American Dental Association (ADA) has perpetuated two giant frauds on the American people; the first is that it is “safe” to put mercury amalgams into people’s teeth and the second is that water fluoridation is “safe and effective.”

When the first fraud falls, the second will quickly follow. Thus it is in our interests to make sure that the FDA finally acknowledges the stupidity of putting a highly neurotoxic substance into our mouths and letting it it sit there for decades. It is known that minute amounts of mercury escape with practically every chew and every hot cup of coffee. This mercury enters our bloodstream and eventually our brains (some of it may go directly to the brain through the olefactory nerve). No one really knows exactly what damage this is doing (via pregnant mums) to the foetus, nor what a life time of exposure will do to our elderly brains. There are some scientists, like Dr. Boyd Haley, who believe that this lifelong exposure to mercury is contributing to Alzheimer’s disease. No one knows exactly but why take chances when there are safer alternatives available.

We have a wonderful opportunity to help win this battle to ban mercury amalgam fillings nationwide. The message from Charlie Brown , which I received yesterday, explains exactly how you can help.  Please pass this message along to your friends.

Please write FDA by Aug. 23 re toxicity of mercury fillings.

Up until this Wed., Aug. 23, the Food and Drug Administration is accepting written comment re the neuro-toxicity of mercury fillings.   FDA is having a two-day public meeting on Sept. 6 and 7.  But written comments are due August 23.  Anyone may comment.
