STOP Press: A HUGE Victory!

FAN Bulletin 795

April 17, 2007

Dear All,

This is my third bulletin today but I don’t think anyone is going to complain about this one! We have just heard from NYSCOF@aol.com that last night the Quebec City Council voted to discontinue fluoridation in Quebec City starting January 1, 2008.

This is part of the message that Jack Remington Graham forwarded to Carol Kopf at NYSCOF:

“Last night, April 16, 2007, the City Council of Quebec voted not to extend fluoridation to surrounding cities, and to terminate fluoridation in Quebec City on January 1, 2008. “

We will forward more details on this as we get them but meanwhile huge congratulations to our friends in Quebec who have worked so hard to win this victory.

This victory is a HUGE and could be the beginning of many more major cities in Canada abandoning this outdated practice.
