FAN Bulletin 808
May 14, 2007
Dear All,
In haste I am off to the UK in 90 minutes.
After working practically non-stop for 7 years on FAN work, Michael is taking a break sort off. He and a friend (Matt Mazzotta) are going to cycle across the US, starting in Boston and ending up in San Francisco. Along the route they will be looking for places to stay - shower, bed, veggie food. In exchange for hospitality Michael would be keen to speak informally with fluoridation activists or at a more formal meeting if the timing can be worked out - about the issue and about FAN’s work. More than anything else this will be a splendid opportunity for grass roots folks to meet Michael and to continue the national networking which is so crucial to win this long, long fight for sanity and justice.
As anxious parents we would also like to get feedback as they travel and to know that he and Matt are in safe hands (at least part of the way).
Ellen will be in charge of logistics until I have had my hip operation, then I hope to take over at the ‘FAN on wheels control center.’ If you think that you might be on, or close to, Mike’s route (full details yet to be worked out) and would like to help on this have ‘FUN with FAN’ adventure please contact her either at ellen@fluoridealert.org or at 315-379-9200 or 802-338-5577 (cell and office).
