I am very sorry but I have just found out, what some of you have probably found out, that the video I urged you to watch is no longer available. The message: “This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.”

Thanks to a reader the video is now available.

The video feature a young Englishman in a talent competition. The first thing that strikes you when you see him is that he is a little overweight and his teeth are very crooked. Not on the face of it star material. Then he begins to sing “Nessun Dorma” from Puccini’s opera Turandot and the judges faces go from ”expecting the worst” through shock then through excitement, even the suggestion of a tear or two. Meanwhile the audience is going crazy. A star is born. Goosebumps all over. Beautiful voice coming from nowhere. He went on to win the competition and I am sure we will a lot more about him in the future.
