Dear Supporter,
We have posted part 3 of series summing up fluoride events in 2007. This part consists of reports from you. They come from several states in the US, two provinces in Canada, three states in Australia and from our New Zealand team. The story is a remarkably uniform one: a few very stubborn health officials continue to tout fluoridation’s benefits and safety regardless of whatever scientific evidence to the contrary is put under their noses. (Due to the length of the reports, we have posted a copy online instead of below. To access the reports, see: http://www.fluoridealert.org/2007reports.htm )
Yesterday, was a great day in our fundraising effort. Even without a matching grant challenge in place we managed to raise another $1,580 from 23 people to bring our total up to $29,558 from 163 donors. Thank you all very much for your generosity and continued support!
This has been a really magnificent effort, but to reach our New Year’s Eve two goals ($40,000 from 200 contributors) we need another $10,442 and another 37 contributors. With only TWO days left, this is going to be very difficult. But I am not yet ready to join the pessimists and accept this just cannot be done. We’ve done the impossible before and we can do it again! However, it would really help if we could find another angel (our fifth) who would be willing to come through with a matching grant (which would double each contribution up to a certain designated amount). If this happens some time today I will let you know.
Meanwhile, if you haven’t contributed yet, and you want to do so, please go to http://www.Fluoridealert.org and click on the Donate link at the top of the page. Alternatively, you may simply write out a check to AEHSP and send it to AEHSP, 82 Judson Street, Canton, NY 13617. But let us know that you have done so so that we can keep track of our running total.
Remember, if you are a US citizen, your contributions are tax deductible (through our parent body the American Environmental Health Studies Project, AEHSP, which has 501c3 status). Don’t give your money to the government, give it to us to fight the US government’s worst ever “health” practice.

PS A great letter from Dr. Bill Osmunson was published in a Florida newspaper today, see http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2007/dec/30/letter-evidence-effectiveness-fluoridation-lacking/
