Louisiana: A glimmer of hope

FAN Bulletin #980

June 30, 2008

Dear Supporter,

There’s some encouraging news today from Louisiana. We have just heard that Governor Jindal vetoed the legislators’ “pay raise bill”. The reason he gave for the veto was the lack of discussion time given to the bill before being passed by the legislature. This gives us a glimmer of hope, because the argument applies equally - if not more - to the mandatory fluoridation bill (SB 312). So, if you can, please send in our new ONLINE message urging Governor Jindal to veto the unfair and unwise fluoridation bill. Please get your friends to do the same. Numbers will really count on this. Sign the message.

We are also taking this opportunity to urge Gov Jindal to watch FAN’s new video explaining how a similar mandatory fluoridation bill was defeated in Oregon. This was the Brent Foster video we posted on our home page yesterday, see http://www.FluorideAlert.org . It can also be accessed on You Tube.
