The Mercola-Connett interview

Yesterday afternoon the Mercola-Connett interview received its 250,000 visit - ONE QUARTER of a MILLION and it hasn’t stopped there. This morning at 8:00 am the total was 250,735. Little by little the number of people making the effort to get to get to this year’s FAN conference has grown. Unlike previous conferences we will not be examining the science of why this is such a foolish practice, but instead brainstorming how we can end it. Thus the attraction is not a long list of experts, but a long list of participants. Bulldogs. Those who have fought this for many years, and those who are fairly new to the battle. Those who have won local or state battles, and those who have lost. Those who have learned from these experiences and willing to share what they have learned with others. Those who realize that it is not enough to keep it out of your own town but to learn through networking how we can get it out of other people’s towns and eventually have it stopped everywhere.

We will be discussing and brainstorming actions in three broad areas:

1) Winning one community at a time.

2) Changing the broad mass of public opinion, which has been largely brainwashed by the “two chains of command” headed by the ADA and the CDC. 3) Putting pressure at the center, particularly the EPA, which if it did its job could end fluoridation overnight.

This brainstorming will not only be invaluable to the participants who will take the information and resources back to their individual battles but it will also help us define very clearly what kind of skills and experience we need to find in the person who will become our new Campaign Director. We have a long list of highly qualified applicants. An embarrassment of riches. So this is going to be a difficult - but exciting - task for us.

We have the incredible help of Dr. Joe Mercola, and FAN will shortly have a new campaign director. And with this conference we should have an energized base.

The Professionals’ Statement

We are also very, very close to another milestone. At 2,996 we are very close to the important number of 3,000 signers of the Professionals’ Statement calling for an end to fluoridation.

If readers would like to help get more signers on this here is something you can try. Take a copy of the DVD “Professionals’ Perspective on Water Fluoridation” into your local pharmacist and ask the staff there to circulate it among themselves. Any one with a training in pharmacy must quickly realize that fluoridation violates the basic principles that run their profession. For example:

1) With fluoridation you cannot control the DOSE.
2) You can’t control who gets the medicine (everyone gets it, including the very young, the very old, the sick, those with poor kidney function and those with poor diet).
3) There is no doctor overseeing the response of the individual.
4) No agency is monitoring side effects.
5) The drug has never been approved by the FDA.
6) The drug has not been put through FDA trials for effectiveness or safety.
7) The drug added is not pharmaceutical grade but an industrial waste product.
8) No doctor has written a prescription for this medicine.
9) It is being forced on people without their informed consent, and
10) Since water fluoridation began, the public water supply has not been used to deliver any other drug!

Once a pharmacist has heard all this he or she will likely be very shocked and hopefully sign the Professionals’ Statement. Many have already. Good luck. We would appreciate your feedback on this approach.
