What are these?

These are methods of getting notification of changes done. Really Simple Syndication, or RSS, is a method for keeping people up to date, or subscribing to things like news.

When we update or add a page, you can get a notification via a tool called newsreader or aggregator through the RSS link.

If you are a member of MSN, Yahoo, Google or Bloglines you can also get this notification directly when you login. If you use Firefox as your browser then you can download the Sage plugin which will give you your notices. (It’s also a more secure and more standard browser than Internet Explorer.)

As you probably know syndication is common in the news industry where some media outlets wants to include news, or articles, or even cartoons in their paper, web site or news channel. If you for example have a cartoon it can be syndicated which means papers will carry your cartoon in their paper, thereby giving you a bigger audience, and them something to put in their paper.
